I just started my job as a graduate nurse a few weeks ago. I am learning that there is a lot that I don't know, and that just reading about things for a few minutes while at home is very helpful, and contributes to my becoming a better nurse. The other day I had a patient who had stroke symptoms, and although it wasn't a stroke, I was able to pick up on it because of everything that I have been taught. I want to be very educated, so that I can provide the best care to my patients.
On another note, Mark and I are celebrating our one year anniversary on Sunday. We are going camping on Wednesday to celebrate, at Blue Springs. I am very excited :) I hope that the water isn't too cold.
